Four Seasons YMCA Names Executive Director Jody Jernigan has been named Executive Director of the Four Seasons YMCA. See the February / March 2008 newsletter for more information.

For nearly 160 years YMCA's have been meeting the most pressing challenges of the communities we serve. The challenges have changed over time , and the YMCA has continually provided innovative responses.

Today, a new set of issues is calling the YMCA to act. Our nation’s lifestyle health choices are contributing to increased rates of disease and reduced quality of life. Families are finding it difficult to balance their work, family and civic life. Youth, regardless of family income are not receiving the support they need to develop positive skills and values that can guide them throughout their life.

Construction of the Four Seasons YMCA is now underway with a Spring 2009 opening scheduled. Bad weather in February and a decision to complete the pool at the same time the rest of the building is completed has caused the delay. A fund raising campaign continues to raise funds to build the facility with no debt and your financial support will be greatly appreciated. Support for the Four Seasons YMCA has been broad based as funding has come from individual, corporate, government, and foundation donations as well as donations from civic organizations and school groups.
