HAPPEN
The Four Seasons YMCA fund raising campaign($7.6 million) is
the largest ever conducted in Tazewell County and over $5.4
million has been raised so far. A fund raising campaign is
underway to raise the additional $2.2 million needed to complete
the facility. Our plans are to raise these funds before the
center is completed so that the new facility will have no debt.
We will be contacting hundreds of area citizens, corporations,
and foundations who have not yet contributed. If you haven't contributed, we hope that when contacted, you will make a
contribution that will make a difference in the lives of many
people including your own family.
There are many ways to fund a Four Seasons YMCA pledge which
can be made over a 5 year period. Cash, securities, property,
life insurance, and trusts are often used to make gifts and
there will be naming opportunities for various components of the
new YMCA. Assistance is available to you and your tax advisor in
determining the most advantageous way to make your donation.
Tazewell County and the surrounding area needs the Four
Seasons YMCA. Think of all the seniors who need the exercise
opportunities to continue a vibrant lifestyle. Think of all the
families who will be able to spend more quality time together.
Think of what this will mean to the kids. Think of what this
could do for you and your family!
